  Time

  
  Time is all that is constant to humans, as they age they feel as though time is slipping through their hands. Yet they are simply experiencing time from a mortal viewpoint when in reality time cannot slip or even be captured. It is a beautiful beast set in motion by the hands of the Great One. It is a power uncontrolled and manipulated by only a few. Traveling has been the only safe means of interacting with time. No matter what dimension you find yourself in you will see time flows the same way, forward. It is believed that by messing with a point in time it can create a world entirely different from what could have been. At some point, at different occasions, Time was messed with and we are left with the many different worlds and characters we now see. Most created or drawn characters come from a grain of truth as time traveling has caused world after world to be created.
  
  Kitsuki's spirit is of an immortal race that once watched and protected the order of time, a place called Haven. His people used their powers to seal the borders on the known dimensions of existence to keep peace and harmony. While wars eventually broke out in their own dimensions it was believed that once beings traveled between time and space, they would seek a means to conquer all life, such is the way of darkness. His family was of noble blood and his father was a man of great honor and power though none of this was of help when he was betrayed by Kitsuki's own brother, Moriko. Kitsuki was given his name by his remorseful brother when he was resurrected after having lost his previous body due to an overloading of Mako (The blood and energy of the earth.) To this day Kitsuki does not remember much of his past before his resurrection, no more then his death.
  
  He was killed by Biggs, a powerful and corrupted man. Deep in the caves that belonged to a High Seraph named Ultima, Biggs used his control of Mako to literally flood Kitsuki's previous body and explode it. The high concentration of energy effected Kitsuki's spirit, then his mind, ultimately his sanity. The death was to be permanent, his revival abilities wrecked in his destruction. When Moriko heard of his brother's death he grieved for he was now the last of his family. In this grief he sought the aid of The Order. The Order was a clan of dark conspirators who had used Moriko to take control of Haven once Kitsuki's family was put under. In their control they began to amass plan after plan to influence their darkness in every realm in existence. Moriko pleaded that his brother could be of use to The Order and so they performed the ritual that would allow for Kitsuki's spirit to return from the grave though in new form.
  
  When Kitsuki awoke his mind was flooded with rage and demons of corruption from having been taken from the land of the dead (A place no soul should have returned from after getting there). The bloodlust built and The Order put Kitsuki to work as a mercenary to where he killed and murdered. For a time he enjoyed it greatly but as he continued on in his new life his dreams became cluttered with visions and light. Soon his actions caused him nothing but guilt and he found himself hating his life and the people ordering him around. The Order doesn't simply let one leave, especially when they were the ones who gave you life. The ultimatum was he stay or be put to death. In bloodshed and a sacrifice from his brother, Kitsuki escaped The Order though has been on the run since.
  
  He wished only to atone for the lives he took and so then saved, protected, and befriended those he encountered. His mind is often gone, lost in in the jumbled past, though spoken to, many can tell that his heart is in the right place. His unfortunate event with Biggs has embedded his spirit with an ability to control the elements, as some would call it, 'Magic'. He isn't too careful with it, or rather is not very good with it, and so rather prefers craftier means to fight but it doesn't stop him from playing with fire once in a while. His connection to the spirit world via his bastardized soul allows for the better control over the elements light and darkness though he tended not to use the latter as it was the best way for The Order to track him.
  
  During a final confrontation with an Order assassin, Kitsuki was defeated in battle but only after killing his attacker. Knowing his demise he would have accepted death but knew his weapon was desired by many dark characters. They would be after his sword, The Seal of Souls. He had thought the name a little foolish, but it was a relic of Haven, given to him by his brother when he had been resurrected. The sword was originally intended to trap the souls of those who could not die, thus keeping order over the realms. It was a last defense weapon that was used by his father before the families downfall. Over his time working for the Order, he had acquired a great many souls within the weapon, many of those who did not deserve to be sealed away forever. This bolstered Kitsuki's power but with the death of so many innocents, the sword had began to foster a much darker power, a blood lust. With his final words he begged his friends to take the weapon to Tobikuma, a friend he had adventured and believed him to be a great man of character. Kitsuki then slayed himself with the blade, forcing his own soul to be trapped within it.
  
  The loss was not easy for his friends but they carried out his wishes by taking the weapon to Tobi who now lived on a world that was safe from the Order. Tobi accepted the weapon and stored it away, promising Kitsuki's friends that he would one day revive Kitsuki and free the innocent from their prison. That was many years ago and the Order has grown much less darker over time. After a civil war that brought about the destruction of Haven, the victors emerged as those who had a sense of morality. Now the Order is run by various members, all who seek to understand all that exists, magic and mechanical, they are an order of understanding. Kitsuki now sleeps in his prison, within the weapon that now hides away in Tobi's abode. Unfortunately, there will come a time when those who know of the sword will come for it, should they every find out where it is.
